From The Pastor  3/11/2010 I want to welcome you to our website here at Living Faith that is being newly updated. A lot has been happening in the past several months that is very exciting for us and we want you to be well informed about many of the changes that are ocurring so that you will see how God is moving in our community and guiding us as we seek to minister to the territory that we have been called to serve. In addition, we would like to invite you to come and visit with us so that you can have this experience first hand as you worship our loving God, study His Word and seek to serve Him. For those of you who may not know me already, I am widely known in the Littlestown community as "the Hat Man," due to the crazy hats I wear each day as a crossing guard for the schools. I love serving the community in this way, but I especially love the opportunity to serve God and to help to encourage people to come to know Christ. I cannot think of a more formidible and yet satisfying challenge in all the world as this. The challenge is so great because, as a nation, we have drifted so far from the values and spiritual roots that used to be central to us as a people and made this into such a great nation. Broken families, lack of moral values and the erosion of good solid role models are the litter caused by a falling away from the teachings of scripture and a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I seek to do everything I can do, with the help of God, to restore and renew that relationship with both the scripture and with Christ as our Lord. I have lived in the Littlestown community for 24 years now and love the community a great deal and am proud to call it home. I have seen many changes over the years. some good and some not so good, but I know that God wants to do great things and bring revival to the people here. I also know it has been a tough couple of years, what with the economy and the uncertainty of the changes in our society. Yet, God is good! I trust that God using this time to bring us back to Him and to help us to change the priorities of our lives so that we will honor Him and live lives of integrity. Please take the time to look over our website as it changes over the next serveral weeks. Meet our new Youth Minister, Pat Hogan, and see the plans he has to help your young people to come to Christ. Check out our plans for a wonderful Vacation Bible School we will be holding in June as well as our monthly free movie night (with ice cream), our Bible studies and our plans to engage our community through Gods Plan for Sharing (GPS). Above all, we invite you to visit for our Sunday Praise and Worship at 9:00AM and Sunday School at 10:45AM so that you can sample the love found in this community of faith. We hope to see you soon!
