Living Faith Church
Our Mission
To be a church family of unconditional love, glorifying God by living in obedience to the Word of God, so that all who come here may be empowered by the Holy Spirit and share God's love and peace and become responsible and loving members of His church.
Our Vision
Our goal is to renew and build up the family through encouraging a growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ and modeling the unconditional love God has for each of His children. We will model this love as we engage in joyful worship, one-on-one discipleship, prayer and study of God's Word and go into our community to share His love with others.
Our Purpose
Living Faith Church exists for the purpose of glorifying God. We attempt to accomplish this purpose through five primary means as represented in the word "WIFES." Our primary objectives are to WORSHIP our Lord, INSTRUCT in the Word, FELLOWSHIP as the body of Christ, EVANGELIZE our community, region and the world, and SERVE others as we fulfill our role as servants of our loving God.

Living Faith Church
Our Key Beliefs
Jesus Christ as Lord!
This congregation confesses Jesus Christ as Lord of his church. The Holy Spirit creates and sustains the church through God's Word of law and gospel and thereby calls and gathers His church into fellowship with our Lord and with fellow believers into a family of faith.
The Word of God!
This congregation holds that the Bible, in both Old and New Testament formation, is the complete written Word of God. This complete Word of God comes to us in Law and Gospel and reveals God's sovereign will and saving grace in Jesus Christ. We hold that the Bible, as a whole and in all of its parts, is the Word of God, under all circumstances regardless of man's attitude toward it. Thus, this congregation, accepts the Canonical Books of the Old and New Testaments as a whole and in all their parts as the divinely inspired, revealed and inerrant Word of God, and joyfully submits to this as the only infallible authority in all matters of life and faith.
Our Prayer Life!
As Donald Whitney has written in his classic "Spiritual Disciplines for the Christian Life,"
"The Bible says we must pray for the glory of God, in His will, in faith, in the name of Jesus, with persistance and more."
We, at Living Faith, believe it is vital that we engage in such prayer in challenging times like we are currently experiencing as well as the day to day life we live so casually under most other circumstances. Join your prayers with ours each Sunday at 10:00AM as we ask God to strengthen our faith in Him.
Bible Study!
Living Faith has three different Bible Study Groups that normally meet during the year.
UPCOMING EVENTS
As many of us have experienced this past Easter, we were not able to come together to worship on the day we designate as Easter Sunday. But Easter and the Resurrection is more than a set day in our calendar, and this being so, when we are given the clearance to do so we will come together to celebrate our Lord's glorious resurrection by holding our celebration in June or July or whenever the time is appropriate. Please join us in doing so when we are able to announce the date!
Contact Us!
All of our contact information is listed above. MISSIONS

A MESSAGE FROM
OUR PASTOR
I would like to welcome you to our brand new website. Producing this website comes at a time in our lives that I never even considered could happen. It is a time when our faith is being tested and where we, as followers of Christ are being called to make decisions every day that seem to depend on situations that are evolving by the hour. What seemed to be the right thing to do yesterday has to be re-evaluated for today...and tomorrow will be something different again. It is a grand thing to know a God like ours who is unchanged from yesteday to today and into tomorrow, a God who is our "rock" when there is so much "sinking sand" surrounding us.
What I would heartily encourage you to do during a time such as this is to remember the words of Jesus as he spoke them to his disciples in John 14:27,
"Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not be afraid."
This was said at a very vulnerable time for the disciples who were sensing a rising fear within themselves even as Jesus was speaking about going away from them. God did not leave them even as God has not left us. God is still in charge and it is up to us as a people of faith to live as such in these days of drastic change and trial. Now, more than ever we need to find ways to truly praise God and uplift those who desperately need to believe in a "hope and a furture."
I really do hope that those who take the opportunity to worship at Living Faith will find this to be a place of hope, joy and thankfulness to God in such a time as this. We will seek to find a way to bring the Word of God to you in ways that will encourage you and set your feet on the solid rock of our salvation, Jesus Christ! And please remember that this is a time above all times to continue to be a strong witness to those around you to put their faith in the God that loves you, shelters you in the time of storms and has promised a new day for those who believe in him. Now is the time to remain "strong and courageous" and serve as a light to those in darkness. I invite you to come and worship with us as soon as possible and to praise God daily through your words and deeds. God's greatest blessings to you and yours,
Pastor Larry Douthwaite
HEBREWS CHURCH
UPCOMING EVENTS
Easter Breakfast and Family Worship
We currently do not know what services we will be able to host at the church and when we might be able to host them. We do know that it was disappointing not being able to celebrate Holy Week due to the coronavirus, but we are hoping to hold our Easter Breakfast at 8:ooAM and our Family Praise and Worship to be held at 9:15AM when we are finally given the thumbs up to do so. This is the only Sunday of the year when we vary from our regular service schedule of Sunday School for adults at 9:15AM and Worship at 10:30AM, so please note this. In the meantime we are posting video services on Facebook and there are CDs of the services available at our church Welcome Center.
On Line Discussions!
You are encouraged to use our email connection to ask any spiritual questions you may have. This can be especially helpful during time like this when we are to be social distancing, but our desire is to make this into a regular part of our ministry. If we have no immediate answers for your question we will engage in study until we do. There are so many issues facing us right now that it would be great to engage in a back and forth discussion that we hope shining the light of Christ upon it will be of help to you and otheres. Please let us know how we can help!
